Bio

Cecilia Ferneborg is a Swedish-American singer and songwriter. She writes vulnerable chamber-pop songs about love, nature, going to therapy, and things that fill her with rage.

Born in rural Sweden, she was raised on Swedish fiddle tunes, Appalachian music, and 90s euro-pop. After moving to the US in her teens, Cecilia began a performing career that would place her in songwriter rounds, listening rooms, and rock clubs. Performances of note include the Embassy of Sweden, the Philadelphia Folk Festival, Center City Jazz Fest, Bethlehem MusikFest, Ardmore Music Hall, World Cafe Live, the Tin Angel, and more.

Besides writing and performing, Cecilia is an avid hiker and shelter animal activist.
